- I am trying to set up a Best Data Smart One 2824 in Win 95. The OS
- doesn't seem to recognize the modem as anything but a "Standard 28.8."
- When manually installing as a Best Data Smart One 2834 F, Windows
- prompts for a driver. I ignored the request and installed anyway. Now
- the modem does not sound the dial tone etc, from the speaker when
- dialing or connecting and will not disconnect properly. Is is a driver
- neccesary? If so, where to get it? Any help would be appreciated.
